Claire Ward is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Sports Dietitian with over 20 years of experience. She is university trained with a Masters degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, enabling her to be an APD and provide you with the most up to date and be a credible source of nutrition information.
Sarah McDermott is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and works in our Bathurst and Orange Office, she is university educated with a Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics with Honours. Sarah loves all things nutrition, however has special interests in gastrointestinal disorders, including Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Diabetes, food allergies/intolerances, weight loss and paediatric health. She will help you to debunk the medias food myths and fad diets, food will become an enjoyable experience, while tailored to your personal health needs!
Both Ward Nutrition dietitians will translate the scientific health and nutrition information into practical advice to ensure that you meet your nutrition goals. We are their to help you and provide clinical, practical and accurate nutrition recommendations to ensure your dietary needs are met.
Ward Nutrition has two clinics for clients to gain expert nutrition advice from.:

Both these clinics have a Inbody Body composition machine and are fully equipped with the latest technology to help you with any dietary need you have.
Claire Ward is ACFED (Australian Centre Feeding and Eating Disorders) trained and has completed her Sports Dietitian training at the AIS. Claire was trained and continues to work closely with the RPA Allergy Unit specialist dietitians working with clients with food intolerances and food allergies.
Claire specialises in womens and children’s health of all areas including; Weight loss and obesity, disordered eating, food allergies and intolerances, gastrointestinal issues, fertility and sports nutrition. Claire also sees clients requiring nutrition advice for diabetes, oncology, renal failure and high cholesterol and other cardiovascular issues.

Claire can also provide consultancy services to corporate organisations, food manufacturers, schools and health care facilities as required. Claire has 12 years experience working with Food Service departments at Western NSW LHD and can assess and provide menu reviews to organisations as required.
